Team Apparel is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, detail oriented candidate for a position in our art department. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday 9am to 5:00pm Monday thru Fridays.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the company’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement and respect for individuals.
• Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
• Participate as a key player in the Production Team by supporting operations as needed.
• Communicate effectively with the Owner, Operations Manager, Production Manager, the sales team, and/or the production team, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that both sales and customer objectives are met.
• Follow systems and procedures outlined in the company manuals.

* Graphic Design

• Perform all graphic design job orders according to job ticket requirements.
• Operate computer equipment (Mac and PC), scanners, laser and color printers, digital presses, and vinyl cutters.
• Interface with the Outside Sales Representatives, the Customer Service Representatives and the customer to understand job requirements and ensure all design work is approved prior to production.
• Provide customers with proofs and see that proof deadlines are met, following up on proofs periodically throughout the week.
• Coordinate with digital, offset, and screen printing press operators to ensure graphics work meets their expectations and requirements.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized graphics area.
• Receive and manipulate files electronically.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2 years education in graphic design & advertising.
• Preferred minimum of 1 year of practical experience in graphic design.
• Preferred minimum of 1 year of print production experience.
• Comprehensive background, understanding, and experience with MAC and PC design applications, such as: Adobe Acrobat, Quark, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Corel Draw.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
