Graphics Design Prepress Technician is responsible for several duties at Butler, including use of digital printing machines and software programs to print materials of various types. We are looking for an individual who's looking to grow with us.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and maintain digital press(es) including make ready approvals, meet or improve on estimated run times and waste allowances while maintaining quality standards
• Constantly monitor the quality of the product being produced.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork
• Communicate with the Manager immediately of any issues that may arise such as defective material/components, mechanical issues, excess spoilage, incomplete job information or shortages.
• Daily keep up of area for organization and cleanliness.
• Monitor all supplies. (Ink, materials)
• Assist with scheduling influence.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School or Equivalent
• 1-3 Years of digital print experience

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Proficient in Microsoft Word/Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint/AdobeSuite
• Familiarity with design & print production software/technology
• General understanding of equipment technology and diagnostics
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
• Knowledge of digital workflow processes
