Job Description :

Effectively lead the HR function in with full cycle recruitment, benefits, employee relations, and training functions. This position is essential in supporting the business by collaborating with the management team to staff the organization with qualified candidates, reduce turnover, improve organizational effectiveness, and resolve both strategic and day-to-day people issues.

  • Effectively lead and manage the HR function in a union environment
  • Responsible for interpreting and ensuring compliance with all policies, company processes, and
  • state/federal employment law
  • Positively influence the leadership team on HR initiatives and effectively communicate with all levels of employees
  • Provide leadership in all areas of the HR function:
  • Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits administration, Recruiting, Onboarding
  • Retention, Engagement & Positive Employee Relations, Communications, Leave of Absence
  • Diversity and Inclusion, Unemployment, Assisting in HRIS transactions, as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree required. MS or MBA is a plus
  • 7-10 years of HR leadership experience in a manufacturing role
  • Strong computer experience required, Microsoft Suite, SAP-SuccessFactors and or ADP experience a plus
  • Influential leader and strategic problem solver
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification a plus
