We are looking for individuals that enjoy a challenge every day and are not afraid to push their comfort zones. This full-time position is in Grand Junction but can involve occasional travel to surrounding areas.

What you’ll do:

  • Learn something new on a regular basis getting exposed to software, hardware and configurations unique to every business.
  • Encounter and solve technical challenges even the most experienced have never seen.
  • Enjoy an energetic work environment where your day ends before you know it.
  • Sharing what you learn with your team members through group discussion and documentation.
  • Your normal work week is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Some work occasionally gets scheduled after hours. And you’ll take turns rotating an after-hours on-call role with your other teammates.

What you’ll need to bring with you:

  • An excellent positive, never-give-up attitude with a drive to make people happy. You must make customers happy to succeed!
  • Great experience troubleshooting all forms of Windows workstation environments including hardware and software issues.
  • Good background working with networking devices including routers, switches, wireless devices and firewalls.
  • A solid understanding of networking and Internet principles.
  • Some experience working with file shares, printer shares and it helps to know about file permissions.
  • Super communications, with customers and with team members, both written and verbal.
  • A knack for good time management, keeping the work flowing in and out.
  • Ownership of what is assigned to you; you need to see your tasks through their completion and be able to figure things out without a great deal of help.
  • Professionalism! Never let them see you sweat! Portraying a professional appearance, confidence and great attitude at all times.

What gives you a leg up over the others:

  • Three or more years of direct experience performing IT troubleshooting and customer support services.
  • Hands-on experience configuring or troubleshooting Cisco networking gear.
  • Some experience working with Windows Server tasks; creating users, email accounts, permissions changes.
  • Exposure to virtual environments including VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix as well as remote access technologies like VPN, VNC, and RDP.
  • Telephony and analog experience including IP phones, analog phone systems, paging and audio connections.
  • Certifications if you have them. They show you’re motivated to grow in our industry!

Some deal breakers:

  • You must live within an hour of Grand Junction. We do not pay to relocate. You need to be able to physically come in for an interview.
  • You must be attentive to detail. Its important to get the facts right the first time and pass them on correctly.
  • You must be able to participate in an on-call rotation. When its your week your phone may go off in the middle of the night.
  • You must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • You must have a clean driving record.
