Job Description :
Position Summary
- Develops information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.
- Determines operational feasibility by conducting analysis, evaluating system feasibility, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
- Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, data usage, and work processes.
- Leads brainstorming sessions and end-user operational meetings to determine system needs & associated reporting
- Investigates problem areas, test and debug as necessary
- Follows the software development lifecycle.
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
- Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
- Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
- Obtains and licenses software by obtaining required information from vendors, recommending purchases, and testing and approving products.
- Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Technical School Program Degree in Programming or Software Development (or similar) + 3 years’ experience (equivalent work experience may replace formal education)
- Strong experience with Java, HTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Ajax and jQuery
- Experience working with CRM software
- Experience working with Accumatica is a strong plus (ERP experience required)
- Experience working in the construction industry is a plus
- Ability to lead brainstorm sessions and meetings
- Analytical thinking skills
- Math knowledge for understanding programming
