Sugar Bowl Resort is looking for an IT Technician to work closely with the IT Manager and Business Analyst/Database Administrator to support resort operations, hardware, peripherals and wiring. The position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining all computer hardware and attached devices, the configuration of PC’s and PC software, regular maintenance and troubleshooting of PC’s and basic training and guidance for Sugar Bowl employees.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• General knowledge of networking, phone system setup and WIFI administration
• General knowledge of server room layout and operations
• General knowledge of Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012
• Familiar with PC hardware & software application, including: Microsoft Office 2013/2016, Windows 7 and Windows 10, peripherals and drives
• Strong understanding of printer installation and repairs
• Experience with POS systems, G/L systems and Hoteling systems
• Prior Ski Resort experience a plus

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Provide immediate support for user hardware, and software including POS station with the ability to document client computer software and hardware problems
• Setup, prepare and deploy computer equipment for operations
• Respond to and ensure service for internal and external customer requests related to internet, computer, and audio-visual systems support and setup
• Provide telephone and personal IT support to all Sugar Bowl team members
• Record and monitor all Help Desk interactions, help desk tickets using the Sugar Bowl Help Desk system
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures on all technology equipment on a scheduled basis
• Install, maintain and repair general and specialized printers throughout the corporate environment
• Working knowledge of property network infrastructure, including IDF locations, wireless configurations and network topology
• Provide training, documentation and support to users across the company for various aspects of computer use
• Provide support for outdoor wireless, camera hardware, wireless handheld devices and guest wireless internet access
• Ability to document system configurations and assist in building resort wide procedures
• Perform quarterly tasks related to departmental self-assessment of help desk system reporting
• Responsible for completing project requests as directed by manager.
• Work on various projects as assigned
