About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to join the Refinery Services team at Boron Operations.

What the role entails

This role is a great opportunity for an industrial maintenance planner located in California to become part of Rio Tinto Minerals that operates globally providing borates to world markets. Reporting to the Supeintendent, Planning & Scheduling, you will be:

  • Improving productivity of people, equipment and work quality by eliminating potential delays and obstacles to efficient work execution
  • Supporting the execution of maintenance work by producing plans which are practical with all of the resources identified with accurate estimates and all necessary materials


What you need to bring:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Previous maintenance planning and scheduling experience mandatory
  • SAP experience
  • Microsoft office, excel, project experience a plus
  • Supervisory experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills preferred
  • Detail oriented
  • Previous exposure to Union environment
