Advanced Materials Manufacturing (AMM) is seeking multiple motivated, enthusiastic and hands on manufacturing engineers, mechanical engineers, materials engineers to participate in a growing startup in Raleigh, North Carolina. Experience in processing and post processing of steel is required along with good English writing skills. The engineer will be responsible for design and manufacturing and take part in research, development and commercialization.

The ideal candidate would have:

• Hands on manufacturing materials experience.
• Hands-on engineering and problem-solving expertise.
• Good English writing skills
• CAD, SOLIDWORKS, design

Minimum Requirements:

• Manufacturing, Mechanical or materials engineering Masters or PhD degree
• 5-years of experience on manufacturing for those coming in with MS degree.
• US citizenship

Responsibilities include:

• Lead manufacturing and product development efforts.
• Complete engineering, R&D-related tasks. Tasks include designing parts and fixtures, writing project reports and proposals, completing financial projections, etc.
• Work with outside vendors to source equipment, materials, service providers, etc.
