About Us

The Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation (NNCCF) is a nonprofit located in Reno, Nevada, providing services to all of northern Nevada. It is the only nonprofit in the region solely dedicated to childhood cancer and has provided Help, Hope, and Courage to local families since 2000. NNCCF strives to alleviate the financial and emotional strain that follows a childhood cancer diagnosis. Since inception, the foundation has helped northern Nevada families with $7 million in direct financial assistance. This position provides a unique opportunity to be part of dynamic team making a difference in the fight against childhood cancer.

Summary

While working as part of a small team, the Marketing Graphic Design Specialist will be involved in all aspects of the marketing strategy with a strong focus on design, responsible for producing several types of marketing collateral and communications and ensuring brand consistency across the organization. The successful candidate will have a mix of creative, design, and marketing skills and will be a self-motivated and highly organized individual who can manage several projects simultaneously.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Design:

The Marketing Graphic Design Specialist will provide consistent graphic assistance that fits with the image and brand direction provided by management.

· Artwork creation: brochures, advertisements, flyers, business cards, and other marketing collateral

· Prepare artwork for print

· Design and produce highly creative, impactful presentations for community outreach presentations

· Design or adjust artwork documents in line with brand guidelines

· Think creatively and generate innovative ideas, designs, and concepts

· Create and execute pre-and post-event marketing

· Create, execute and track individual giving campaigns and solicitations

· Work with staff and community partners to understand their design needs and provide support

Digital Marketing:

· Create and manage social media posts and campaigns across all platforms

· Create and manage email marketing campaigns

· Update and manage website

· Track, measure, and report on key performance metrics for campaigns and events which includes marketing analytics for digital and traditional marketing

Public Relations:

· Assist with writing press releases, articles, project features, and family stories

General/Administrative:

· Work closely with the events team to plan and execute fundraising events

· Lead and maintain database management and donor acknowledgements

· Other general duties as needed

Requirement Required Skills/Abilities[3MO1][LD2] :

· Excellent project management skills, problem-solving skills, and time management skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent organization skills and attention to detail

· Ability to be deadline-oriented, proactive, task-driven, and a have a positive attitude

· Ability to work well independently and with a team

· Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)

· Extensive knowledge of all social media platforms

· Experience with donor database systems preferred (Bloomerang knowledge is a plus)

· WordPress knowledge preferred

· Photography/video knowledge is a plus

Education & Experience:

· 2-5 years of experience in a graphic design/marketing role

· Minimum Associate degree in related field

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
