    OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

    Currently accepting applications for potential vacancies for the 2023-2024 school year
    Unit I Salary Scale plus $5,000, 10 months, 8 hours per day

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Completed accredited education program with field work education requirements.
    • Certification by the Occupational Therapy Certification Board (OTCB).
    • Successfully completed a pediatric affiliation and have two years of prior work experience.
    • Able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodations.

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Provide direct and indirect service for students which includes screening and evaluating students, evaluation program planning, program implementation and re-evaluation.
    • Provide consultation to teachers, parents and other staff.
    • Maintain documentation that is professional, efficient and accountable.
    • Provide input and attend IEP/IFSP meetings.
    • Develop IEPs and IFSPs.
    • Supervise COTAs.
    • Maintain, re-order and account for therapy inventory and equipment.
    • Demonstrate courteous and professional treatment of all students, parents, and employees of Washington County Public Schools.
