Immediate part time position (potential opportunity to transition to full time) available in an Integrated Medical and Rehab facility located in Mansfield, TX. We are looking for a passionate, dynamic, and patient- focused team player to provide professional medical direction, oversight and direct patient care for the facility. Competitive Salary. No nights, no on-call and no weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to patients as per the Plan of Care written by the physician and as defined in the state Physical Therapy Practice Act.
• Direct and assist patients in therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional activities, and participation in the development and modification of the total plan of care.
• Assess and evaluate muscle strength, mobility, gait, ROM of the patient.
• Review the patients’ medical history and listen to their concerns.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and outline clear goals for the patient.
• Work in cooperation with interdisciplinary groups to meet the goals of the patient when necessary
• Supervise and guide physical therapy assistants towards the plan of care of the patient.
• Use exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to manage patients’ pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury.
• Observe the patient's reaction towards the treatment or changes in condition and report to the physician.
• Evaluate patients’ progress toward goals and prepare progress summaries accordingly.
• Use critical thinking skills to complete patient care needs independently or by appropriately delegating.
• Maintain a high level of integrity of patient confidentiality. Follow safety and health policies & procedures.
• Complete and record all relevant care information accurately in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Physical Therapy
• Minimum One Year experience
• Current Texas PT licensure
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association required

Pay: $46.00 - $51.00 per hour
