About the role:


The Relationship Manager has responsibility for onboarding and servicing clients in Elite Group; maintaining operational integrity, controls and mitigating any potential exposure for the bank and the client, all while looking for ways to deepen the relationship.


In the role you will:

  • Support the Bank's People First focus and rules of engagement-maintaining a professional demeanor, working as an active member of the CNOB team, providing all clients with exceptional service and always striving to make CNOB A Better Place to Be.
  • Responsible for the overall delivery and management of the client experience including onboarding new clients, establishing new accounts for existing clients, navigating through the organization and working with departments in order to exceed client expectations.
  • Accountable for client advocacy and problem resolution, quickly escalating matters that need additional attention or support.
  • Monitor, assess, execute, and address client needs in an effort to ensure overall client satisfaction and retention.
  • Accountable for adhering to Policies and Procedures, maintaining operational integrity, and compliance controls in order to protect clients' assets and the bank.
  • Actively manage existing client relationships by regular proactive outreach to maintain open communication and keeping clients informed, making recommendations appropriately for new products and/or services, and uncovering opportunities to expand the relationship.
  • Partner with Retail Operations, Compliance, Security and Legal for direction, support, and approvals relative to contractual accounts and transactions.

Must Haves:

  • Expert knowledge of relevant federal and state banking regulations.
  • Familiarity with Bank security and safety practices.
  • Knowledge of CNOB products and services as well as specialty banking products.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Conflict Resolution skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong People First interest and ability.
