RF Electronics Engineer TS/SCI

Must relocate to Tampa, FL

Seeking Electrical Engineer with RF experience, PCB testing experience and electronic level knowledge.

Experience 3-10 years. Programming experience a plus.

This is a mid-level position. Candidates must possess all required experience and education requirements, no exceptions. Preference given to candidates with ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance.

In this position, the candidate will independently:

Demonstrate ability in related engineering discipline activities for conducting system, subsystem and component level characterization, exploitation and analysis of electronic systems.

Support engineering efforts for problem definition, analysis, requirement development, testing and implementation for complex systems.

Demonstrate ability to reverse-engineer, analyze, and document electronic circuit systems at various maturation levels.

Possess knowledge of and ability to perform analysis on the latest Commercial Based and emerging

Technologies.

Offer recommendations and advice on system development, improvements and optimization, or support activities.

Necessary experience:

• Ability to perform RF testing and evaluation (required)
• Familiar with new and existing RF architectures (preferred)
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI (preferred active clearance)
• Ability to assist technical staff in identifying and correcting system/equipment problems.
• Ability to assist technical staff in interpreting manufactures reference and technical manuals.
• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance to system components.
• Knowledge of systems that may include but are not limited to electronic systems/equipment electromagnetic radiation (RF) spectrum communications systems; HF/MF/LF/VLF transmit/ receive antennas and tower structures.

Education Requirements:

BA/BS with 3-10yrs experience - Basic requirement or;

- Associates degree plus 4yrs experience to the base 3-10yrs requirement.

- NOTE: Associate Degree plus 4yrs is the equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree.

- (No degree) plus 6yrs experience to the base 3-10yrs requirement.

- NOTE: 6yrs experience is the equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree.

MA/MS - Alternative basic requirement or;

- NOTE: Bachelor’s degree plus 8yrs experience is the equivalent to a Master’s degree.

- (No degree) plus 12yrs experience

NOTE: 12yrs experience is the equivalent to a Master’s degree.
