The Autism Academy's West Hills campus has multiple openings for Education Specialists (teachers) who are credentialed to instruct students with mod/severe challenges. Students range K-12 and are challenged with a wide variety of developmental issues.

This opportunity is for full time employment (213 work days), Monday through Friday 8:45am -3:15 pm.

Desired:

• Experience working with developmentally challenged students
• At least a basic understanding of the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) but we are willing to train the right person

Required:

• Reliable & organized
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Computer literacy
• Flexibility, if necessitated by an emergency, to shift from an onsite model to a remote model by utilizing company provided technology to teach remotely (this is/has been an evolving adaptation to the challenges presented by the pandemic)
• Passion for working with this amazing and unique population
• Mod/Severe Credential
• California Education Specialist Credential

We offer an excellent salary (including a $2500.00 signing bonus) with paid medical, dental and vision insurance.
