Perform day-to-day accounting and clerical functions as an Staff Accountant at SJF. The Staff Accountant will chiefly be responsible for matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry, and full control in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), Purchase Orders and Sales tax. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review aging reports and initiate calls to clients with past due balances to arrange for payment.
• Resolve client complaints and research account discrepancies.
• Prepare credit, adjustment or customer refund documentation for account resolution.
• Escalate difficult collection situations to management in a timely manner.
• Cash Deposits
• Setup suppliers
• Accounts Payable Process Misc. invoices.
• Accounts Payable Process Advance Invoices.
• Accounts Payable Process invoices with purchase orders
• Resolves accounts payable invoices that have discrepancies
• Create Purchase Orders
• Basic understanding of sales tax
• Use of Avalara for sales tax exempt certificates and adjustments of sales tax
• Data entry projects
• Back up for sales order entry
• Work with Epicor Quotes
• Work with Epicor Case Management
• Other relates duties
• Answer phone call

Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in accounting

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Works well under pressure and achieve deadlines and goals.
• Ability to work with detailed information accurately.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Kinetic(Epicor) experience a plus, but not required.
• Epicor ECM experience a plus, but not required.
• Avalara experience a plus, but not required.
• Strong communications skills – both written and oral and includes interpersonal, customer interface, professionalism, and maturity.
• Strong planning, organizational, and administrative skills.
