JOB TITLE: Warehouse/Driver

DEPARTMENT: Warehouse

REPORTS TO: Branch Manager

SUMMARY: Supports the overall warehouse effort with a focus on transporting orders over designated routes; ensuring safe operation of vehicles; and loading and unloading freight trucks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists with the startup of new location(s), when necessary.
• Operates a forklift – certification to be provided.
• Cleans and efficiently organizes the warehouse, maintaining a safe and sanitary work area.
• Works with vendors to order correct quantities of products, assuring the quality of said orders.
• Transports and delivers freight to designated sites/clients, meeting all delivery requirements.
• Receives and restocks incoming inventory at the specified branch location.
• Ensures safe operation of company vehicles by maintaining delivery vehicles and equipment logistics.
• Documents activities and provides reliable resource information, such as delivery logs, verifies packing slips and purchase orders, etc., and sends to Aurora AP.
• Manages inventory tracking, confirms stock and identifies losses by participating in physical inventories of the warehouse on a daily basis.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screens.
• Valid driver’s license required, and maintain DOT medical card or Class A CDL if necessary.
• At least one to two years related experience.
• Capacity to perform heavy lifting (up to 50lbs).
• Acute attention to detail, positive attitude, with the aptitude to learn new products.
• Must be able to work well in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to manage priorities/workflow and multi-task.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
