What you’ll do:

• Create and analyze liability, asset, and capital accounts by compiling electronic data and required documentation.
• Summarize and prepare financial status and transactions reports, including a profit and loss statement, and other necessary reports.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local protocols including legal requirements, and interpret new and existing legislation.
• Ensure the accuracy of the perpetual inventory, investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues.
• Maintain a Standard Operating Procedure for accounting policies and procedures.
• Focus on tax compliance and state business registration.
• Play a vital part in the company's financial management which includes financial analytics, all account reconciliations and reporting to necessary parties.

What your experience is like:

• Five years' experience working with intercompany transactions and reconciliation in preparation for audit.
• Eight or more years of Manufacturing Accounting competencies.
• Working knowledge of tax filing and tax compliance as it pertains to state and federal level regulations.
• Strong experience in budget creation.
• In depth working knowledge of financial ERP systems data extraction, validation, and reporting.
• A thorough understanding of financial application security ensures that all financial data is secure and complies with confidentiality policies.
• Required proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite, an expert in Excel, and other applications related to finance and accounting.
