Best-Aire Compressor Service is looking for an Customer Service Representative for our Grand Rapids, MI to assist with Service and Sales.

Best-Aire is a leader in the distribution of industrial and mechanical equipment. From our 6 locations, Best-Aire is the expert in the sales and service of air compressors, air dryers, and blowers and we offer a full-service center to repair all brands of compressed air equipment. There are many opportunities for growth in our team environment.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Processing Warranty Claims
• Support Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan
• Track and schedule service for our wide customer base
• Determining issues and parts needed by customers by efficiently addressing customer request.
• Obtaining all customer information and keeping maintenance records current.
• Responsible for ordering parts and supplies as needed, as well as maintaining inventory.
• Work with Sales Staff to quote parts from Service Recommendations.
• Responsible for coordinating/tracking freight and ups shipments.
• Responsible for packaging parts/equipment for shipment.
• Check in stock orders.
• Inventory management.

Qualifications and Skills

Must have computer skills, be motivated with ability to interact and communicate effectively.

Highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Physically able to move and lift 50 pound items.

Forklift operator qualified

Load and unload trucks.

Proficient with excel and word.

Knowledge of Quickbooks or similar system.

Excellent communication skills are a must.
