Position: IT Specialist

DTPM is seeking an IT Specialist for our headquarters in Fort Payne, AL

Position Summary:

The IT Specialist will be responsible for daily IT consultation, installation, configuration, and support of operating systems, network configuration, and installation of network hardware and cabling.

Responsibilities will include:

• Provide Help Desk support using remote access tools
• Install and support IP cameras
• Support VOIP phone system over a JIVE PBX system
• Supporting the Installation and deployment of computer hardware and related equipment
• Install & wire-manage network cables
• Interact daily with users in a professional manner

Qualifications:

• Ability to multi-task
• Windows/MAC Operating System experience
• Active Directory
• Network experience
• MS Office 365 experience
• Customer Service oriented
• Ability to travel to various sites during the workday (5% - 10%)
• Ability to communicate technical information coherently, both verbally and in writing

Physical Demands:

• Sitting in a normal seated position for extended periods of time
• Reaching by extending hand(s) and arms(s) in any direction
• Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with hand(s) or arms(s), for example, using a keyboard
• Ability to see within normal parameters
• Ability to hear within a normal range
• Ability to move about
• Ability to use a ladder
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
