Medical Assistant

Enjoy a fast paced, and exciting work environment at Community Health Centers, Inc. In this opportunity, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our patients, while providing quality health care. Not a certified MA, no problem. Our company will train you to become a medical assistant.

Salary Range: $15.00 - $22.04 an hour depending on experience.

General Scope of Responsibilities will include (not all-inclusive):

• Assisting Providers with Tray set-ups, exams, charting & obtaining vitals
• Ordering and preparing lab analyzes
• Assessing patients/training
• Calling in Pharmacy orders and stocking supplies
• Performing vaccine administration and Injections

Required Skills and Knowledge;

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
• Bilingual English and Spanish – the ability to fully comprehend, speak and write English and Spanish (required)
• Ability to manage and prioritize work responsibilities and daily tasks as they may fluctuate with the demands of the clinic and patient load
• Previous experience in a clinic setting is nice to have, as well as knowledge of triaging
• Ability to provide support to the medical team
