Senior Research Scientist:

General Nutraceutical Technology, LLC (GNT) is a New York-based start-up biotech company. Our mission is to develop novel interventions to improve quality of life and save lives by identifying, developing, and commercializing therapeutics for allergic and inflammatory diseases including Food Allergy, Asthma, Eczema, and Eosinophilic Esophagitis.

Job description:

· Work on established projects and participate on new grant preparations as PI, multiple-PI or Co-I in the field of pharmacology, immunology and molecular biology.

· Strong PhD/postdoc training background in biochemistry, chemistry, pharmacology, immunology and/or molecular biology.

· Has experience in managing small molecule compound quality control, ability to generate CMC, PK, pharmacology/toxicology data of novel interventions for FDA IND by working with senior investigators.

· Expertise in a wide range of techniques including non-mammalian and mammalian cell culture, animal handling, HPLC, Mass Spectrometry, NMR, RT-PCR, Western blotting etc.

· Familiar with nano technology, being able to create and adapt new technology.

· Supervise junior scientists

· Ability to work in a diverse environment

· Excellent academic writing skills and communicating skills

Salary starts: $70,000-80,000 based on experience
