The Talent Development Specialist will support the delivery of leadership development and culture initiatives throughout the organization, reporting to the Organizational Development (OD) Manager and partnering with other OD team members. Our leadership development programs aim to help leaders at every level of the organization become more effective at motivating, inspiring, and guiding employees to perform at their best. You will be responsible for leadership training; talent and team development initiatives; and a wide array of tasks and projects that support the organization's culture. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ongoing leadership development classes with leadership training facilitation focused on new and emerging leaders.
  • Facilitate culture initiatives and training for new employees.
  • Help drive team development and team-based initiatives through training facilitation, training needs analysis, research and consultation.
  • Assist with design, development, and administration of OD programs, including training programs, mentoring, employee recognition and the training library.
  • Create curriculum, learning aids, participant resources and tools as needed to supplement courses and/or for refreshers.
  • Innovate and execute development opportunities outside of formal in-classroom training.
  • Provide leadership consulting across various business units with a special focus on new and emerging leaders.
  • Analyze data and conduct research of latest trends and best practices to support leadership, culture, and/or special projects.
  • Remain knowledgeable of organizational development theory to maintain and implement OD strategies.
  • Assist leadership with people-related aspects of organizational change.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of related experience facilitating training in a corporate or higher education environment, including ability to obtain/maintain accreditation for facilitation of external programs, is required. Experience facilitating virtual training preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required (Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Leadership Development concentration or a related field strongly preferred); Master's degree preferred.
  • Ability to deliver training content clearly and make meaningful connections with participants.
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships across the organization, partnering with various business units to plan and execute special projects, training interventions, and consultative work.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required.
  • Experience with Qualtrics preferred.
  • Self-motivated and flexible with the ability to work independently while setting priorities for multiple ongoing assignments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively to arrive at solutions.
  • High-attention to detail.
  • Customer-service oriented.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
