Inspyr Arts Education is hiring!

Great opportunity for someone who would like to teach in an art studio environment. Ideal for students of fine art, childhood education, or individuals who would like a few hours per week practicing and teaching art.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching art to children (ages kindergarten - 12th grade)
• Teaching art to LBUSD elementary school students
• Live demonstrations of drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, anime and more
• Keeping the studio clean and organized and keeping track of supplies
• Sorting and filing artwork
• Keeping track of student attendance
• Teaching summer art camps

Must have a cheerful, patient personality and be outgoing and friendly.

Approximately 4-6 hours per week to start, with the opportunity to take on additional classes and add hours.

The ability to draw animals, still life, people, landscapes and simple cartoons is highly desired. The ability to teach graphic design principles (non-computer) a huge plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
